Seniors' trip

BY

RIC

Raetihi senior citizens made an enjoyable trip to Taumarunui recently. Twenty seven people left Raetihi by bus at 9.30am on 26 March, for what has always been a happy occasion, as over the many years the two clubs have been exchanging visits, close friendships have developed between members. At Taumarunui after a warm welcome and a delicious lunch, entertainment was provided by three young singers, who soon had the crowd singing along with them. In September it will be the turn of the Raetihi club to welcome and entertain the Taumarunui club at the Waimarino club rooms, which is the Raetihi Senior Citizens' regular meeting venue.
