Medals for Waiouru swimmers

Eight out of 12 of Waiouru's competitive swimmers came home with medals from the Wanganui age group district championships recently. Competitors came • from all over the Wanganui region for the carnival, including Hunterville, Marton, Raetihi, Waiouru and the Wanganui swimming clubs. Two of the Waiouru swimmers received gold medals: Kane Tamou and Crystal Walker. The Waiouru's Competitive swimmers have entered into the following events; 15 February Hunterville Club Carnival, 22 February Counr try Club Championships, 29 February Raetihi Club Carnival and 14 March Waiouru Club Carnival.
