Dentists unite
The concept of combining two separate part-time dental pratices appealed to both Dr Mike Simon and Dr Garry Van Den Borst. The house that Garry was renting near the new dental centre was sold for removal, and Mike had seen the need for more professional premises for some time. After months of careful planning and hard work the new dental centre was completed and operational just prior to Christmas 1991. "The new dental centre gives us modern professional Turnpage 12
Frompagell premises," said Dr Simon. "We have combined our equipment in order to have two fully
functioning surgeries, and we have arranged our days in Ohakune to give maximum coverage for the week."
"We can offer the public a full service with modern techniques and materials are used in all of our work."
