Chills Off meet
Only scven people attended a public meeting held at the Waimarino Club in Raetihi last Thursday night. Chairperson Shirley McDonough said she was "disappointed although undaunted". With $58,000 in the bank the meeting decided to continue with fund raising with the next event to be a pool party at the Raetihi baths where various activities will be held together with barbecue meals and a kareoke machine for entertainmcnt. The group is also applying for a licence to run housie evenings which should start late February in Raetihi.
