Fish for kids

Members of the Ruapehu Fish & Game Club will be at Ohakune Lakes Reserve on Sunday, from lpm, to show youngsters the finer points of fishing They will be taking children out onto the lake as well as fishing from the shore. Children are asked to take a life jacket and rod, if they have them, and a fishing licence, some life jackets and rods will be available. Parents are welcome to be there to assist club members. A prize is offered for the longest fish caught by 4pm.
