This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week. The successful applicant will be required to facilitate a conservancy wide iwi liaison strategy, structure and process, develop an awareness of Kaupapa Maori within the staff and help to train them. Applicants for the position must be able to relate well to people in both individual and public situations, be team orientated and be able to communicate clearly and well in both Maori and English. A thorough knowledge in and experience of Kaupapa Maori, tikanga and Maori philosophies, values and ethics required.
