RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ACT 1991 PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGE NO. 91/3 TO RUAPEHU DISTRICT PLAN The Ruapehu District Council has prepared a Proposed Change to the Ruapehu District Plan. The Proposed Change is to amend the requirements of the Plan which relate to the erection of signs. The existing District Schemes which make up the Ruapehu District Plan contain a variety of provisions for the erection of signs. The inconsistencies in these existing provisions are undesirable and for this reason it is proposed that a change be made to the District Plan so that a consistent set of rules and provisions apply to the whole District. The Proposed Change may be inspected at the Council Offices at Manuaute Street, Taumarunui, Miro Street, Ohakune and Seddon Street, Raetihi from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm. Forms for submissions are available at any of the above Council offices. Submissions on the Proposed Change or any part of it may be made by any Body or person and are to be lodged at the offices of the Council not later than 5.00pm on 18 February 1992. At a later date every submission will be open for public inspection and any Body or person who wishes to support or oppose any submission will be entitled to do so.
