Okay for Ohakune water plant site
Planning approval was given for the siting of the new Ohakune Water Treatment Plant near Soldiers Road, at last Friday 's Ruapehu District Council Hearings Committee meeting. The application, from the council' s technical services directorate, is for the $1.2 million project to build the plan, a storage reservoir and a backwash-water settling pond.
