General Sir John Chapple, Chief of General Staff of the United Kingdom, and his wife Lady Annabel made a quick visit to the QE II Army Memorial Museum last Sunday on their way to visit relatives in the South Island. Sir John is the chairman of the Society for Army Historical Research in England. He has a passion for Army memorabillia and said he was impressed with the collection at Waiouru.
