Despite the unseasonal weather a good field of 30 took to the course for the third and final round of the Aggregate Stableford Competition. Paul Creedy (12), Brian Jacobsen (11) and Merv Rodger (2) scored 'twos'. Results of the haggle were: Garth Worsley (40pts), Peter Willan (39), Paul Creedy (38), Murray McGibbon (37), Mark O'Dwyer (37), Garry Haughey (37) and Trevor Hennessey (36). The winner of the Aggregate Stableford competition with 77 points was Mark O'Dwyer. First round matches in the Adam and Eve competition were also played. Results were: June McKinnon/Mark O'Dwyer beat Karen Devine/Paul Creedy, Barbara Shaw/Sam Iraia beat Chris Tidey/Geoff Robinson. Second round matches are to be played by 23 November. Next Saturday, 16 November, competition is the Ronnie Stephens mixed and Men's foursomes. Cost is $20 a couple including meal. Tee off 12.30pm.
