Ruapehu rejects bulk funding
Bulk Funding of teachers salaries as proposed by the Government was unanimously rejected by the Ruapehu College Board of Trustees at their October meeting. Although Ruapehu College would initially benefit financially by such a move the benefits would be temporary and by 1993 any benefit would have diminished, they heard. Apart from the financial aspect of Bulk Funding, concepts are introduced that the Board feel is inappropriate to their governance role. A
