IHC cash taken

Thieves broke into the Ohakune Club sometime on Friday night- Saturday morning and stole Intellectually Handicapped Children donations money as well as cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol and other cash. The thieves broke in through French doors in the main area of the club and smashed windows and the burglar alarm with an axe. As well as the alcohol and tobacco, the thieves took away an IHC donations figurine, which is believed, to have contained a large amount of coins. They also took an 'Avago' game machine. The figurine and game machine were later found near the Mangawhero Stream, minus the cash and the game cards.
