The Ruapehu District Council is to grant HMNZS Irirangi the Freedom of the Town of Ohakune. His Worship the Mayor will present a Charter at a Ceremony to be held outside the Ruapehu District Council Office, Miro Street, Ohakune on Friday 25th October at 11.15am. The Parade will march down Miro Street and into Clyde Street with drums beating and the band playing. In the afternoon at 2.00pm the Navy Band will be performing at Jubilee Park. The Mayor invites you all to view the Parade and the performance of the Navy Band on Friday the 25th of October.
