Snow glutton

Imagine this if you will. You're a liftie working on Ruapehu in the season of 1991. Much of your time is spent as a snow transportation technician (snow shoveller), clearing snow away from things like ski lift drive stations (so you can get in the door to start them up) toilet buildings (so you and the public can avoid the yellow snow build-up) and lift lines ( so the public don't donk their heads on the towers as they ride the T Bars. Got the picture? Now introduce a guest to your ski field who, in all seriousness, says to a liftie "Could do with another foot of snow eh". This is while the liftie is standing in the shadow of a two metre snow bank! Some people are never satisfied?! (That comment was overheard in a lift queue last Tuesday - and the guest was serious)
