Pony quiz win
The first jmounted rally of the new Raetihi Pony Club season was held on Sunday 29 September with an excellent turnout of ponies-and riders. Thanks go to the Ruapehu Sports and Recreational Grant Scheme from the club for the donation given to the Raetihi Pony Club for the purchase of two dressage arenas An instructors "D" . Level course was held on 14-15 September at Kaitieke which was attended by two local instructors. The Waimarino quiz evening was held on 24 August with children from the Raetihi and
Ohakune Pony Clubs competing in mixed teams against each other. The winning team was Melanie Mitchell, Shelly Bath, Karen Richards all of Ohakune PC and Sally Williams of the Raetihi PC. On 31 Augtist a team from Raetihi Pony club competed at the King Country Quizz in Ohakune against PC teams from Ohakune, Kaetieke, Owhango and Ongarue. The eventual winning team was the Raetihi Pony Club, a title the Raetihi PC have now won for four years in succession. The team consisted of Janine Maru (capt), -Sally Williams, Amanda Garland and Paula Hyland.
