The Turoa Tumblers' competitive squad travelled to Paraparaumu to compete in the Kapiti Gym Club Big Save Tumbling and Vault Championship on Sunday 13 October. The day started off well with Karen Richards competing in Level 3 and winning the gold medal. In boys' Grade 9 Josh Goddard won his gold medal. Gold fever continued throughout the day with Andrew Murdie winning boys'

Grade 7 and his sister Jenny winning girls' Level 4. Warwick Hays won the Boys' open competition. Scott Nation won a silver medal in boys' Grade 7 and to finish off a mighty day by all the Tumblers, Denise Waerea won a silver medal in girls' Level 5.
