Last Saturday night the Waiouru league team celebrated the end of the season with a buffet dinner, prize presentations and a disco. For the Premier reserves, trophies were awarded to Brian Wanoa for the most improved player and Pat Wilson for player of the year. For the Premier team

trophies were awarded to Stan Walker for best defensive player; Shaun Stewart for most improved player; Lee McLean for best all round Premier; Jack Milford and Jackson Puketapu for player of the year; Pat Wilson for most dedicated player. Peter Albrett was nominated for his dedication and contribution for Rugby League.
