Speaking of coppers Brian Wilson has a new duty - parking cars. Last week when the siren called all hands to an accident at Makaranui a few fire brigade blokes and blokesses missed the engines. But they've all got fancy bleepers now which tell them where it's at, so they all arrived in their cars. Trouble was parking was at a premium so our Mr Wilson had to put some order into the situation. It wasn't all Keystone Cops however - the guys were needed to help rescue the accident victims (who are fit and well, so we've been told)
