Thefts from cars

A number of thefts from cars occurred last week. A car in Arawa Street Ohakune was broken into and two Pioneer stereo speakers stolen. A neighbour heard the thieves smash the quarter-light window of the car and caught them rummaging through the glove box. The two offenders, one quite tall, ran off.
