Waiouru heroes

by

saunders

Serco Group in Waiouru recently introduced an incentive scheme for all its staff, in which one employee per month is selected for their overall efficiency and craftsmanship in

their particular trade. It is called 'Hero of the month'. The 'Hero' is selected depending on feed back from customers, pertaining to the tradesmen's manners, efficiency and how long it took to complete the task in hand. The winner for August is Steve Nolan, a craftsman plumber. Steve's boss Andrew Hema received a letter from a resident who praised the work Steve had done. Because of this Steve has won a meal at Jenny's Restaurant in the Oasis Hotel. July's winner was David Shaw from the Electrical department.
