Cattle
Under an amendment passed by the Ruapehu District Council at its meeting last Friday to its Stock Droving Bylaw 1991 the word "Cattle" was re-defined to include: "any horse, bull, cow, ox, heifer, steer, calf, sheep, ram, ewe, wether, lamb, goat, kid, boar, sow and pig of any kind." Use of this definition will make all the bylaws consistent in their interpretation and enables the bylaw to be applied to the movement of all animals.
