Chateau disco for health

Two discos are being held at the Chateau to promote the Heart Foundations local promotion. The New Zealand Heart Foundation established Hcartbeat New Zealand in 1989 to promote food programmes in schools by introducing school canteens.

This was the rcsult of a survey carricd out in New Zealand revealing that over 50% of New' Zealand children wero overweight and could be facing Heart Disease in the future. School canteens offer pupils a wide variety of interesting foods which are low in salt, sugar and

fat content, in the hope that these eating habits set in young people. But it does not mean that all the fun has disappcared from food choices and to prove this young people are urgcd to join the fun at the Hcartbeat Ski Disco at the Chateau this Saturday from 6.30 to 8.30.
