Winners of prizes that night were: Darren Triggell, Ashantha Perera, Eileen Voon and Katrina Marsh. Junior club night for Primary are every Sunday 5-6.30pm and new members are welcome. There is a shortage of boys compared with girls in this club, so energetic fit, boys looking for fun are urged to get along.

What was supposed to be a big weekend of playing league turned out to be a layed back couple of days for the players. Palmerston North based Kia Ora failed to show giving Waimarino four easy points. It was a let-down for the players who were well prepared for the encounter and would rather have won it on the paddock and for ihe coach also, who wanted to try out new players against the less fancied Kia Ora side who suffered two big losses to the hands of the Wild Boar's. 1st Round 64-0, 2nd Round 56-0. Sunday was to have becn an important match for the locals. A previ-

ous game had to be rescheduled against Linton Prison who are currently leading the competion. They have the distinct advantage of all home games - they are not allowed to travel for obvious reasons. Waimarino are often at a disadvantage with players sometimes unable to afford the fare to get to the game. Sunday however, was to see the strongest Waimarino team travel to Linton Prison only to be told that they were not ready for us. A special meeting from the Manawatu League Board will decide i what to do about that game. With the last game of the round this week

Waimarino will give their all to beat Marton to confirm the top four. Kaitoke Prison, Linton Prison and Feilding make up the first three leaving Marton and Waimarino to play off for the last spot in the top four.
