Whakapapa fireworks

Bad weather forced the postponement of the Coca-Cola Fireworks Display which was due to be hcld at Whakapapa last Saturday. The display will now be held at 6:00 pm next Saturday, 30 August at the Top of the Bruce.

This is the fourth year that RAL and Coca-Cola have put on the display, the highlight of the Whakapapa School Holiday Programme. $6,000 worth of fireworks are let off and sparklers are given out for the children. A Bar-B-Que and free CocaCola top off the event. Last year nearly 3,000 people watched the display.
