The annual visit from Taumarunui for the Manson Cup was a great success even though the weather at times did its best to halt everything. Waimarino came out the winners by 29.7 points to Taumarunui's 28.8. Individual scores for the day were as follows: Ladies: P Chambers 36, J Leslie 35, B Frost 34, B Berridge and F Geraghty 33, P Mowatt 32, B Hainsworth 26. Senior Men: B Drink water, D Windle, N
Clarke and G Imhoff all on 36, G Pirini, T Geraghty 35, G Allerby 34. Juniors: S Gray 41, J Murphy, N Lietz, H Geraghty 37, J Renata 36, R Frew, D Kennedy, C Heinold and D Williams 35. Two's were scored by R Bartlett, R Drinkwater, S Tuauaiti, F Samson, B Donovan, D Kennedy, B Powell and K Herewini.
