Chills off update

By

Denise

Harrison

Raetihi's Chill's Off Committee has so far raised $53,000, $20,000 of which came from the JBS Dudding Trust. The money was raised

through fun-runs, competitions and other activities. "We are now trying to get a licence to run Housie nights," said Shirley McDonough, chairperson of the committee, "and a public meeting will be held

sometime in the near future". The committee is waiting on plans for the construction of the cover to the pool. Once they have the plans they will know exactly how much more they need to raise and a meeting will then be organised.
