Variety concert

BY

JOANNA

SAUNDERS

Friends and members of the St James Church in Waiouru held a variety concert at the community centre on Saturday 27 July. There was no lack of enthusiasm from the people who participated in the concert with a great deal of variety ranging from children singing, acting and reading, through to performing family groups. Even the minister participated in a 'funky' piece at the conclusion of the concert.

A lot of time was put into the organising and practising of the items and the well attended audience seemed to enjoy the performances.
