Car accidents
Two car accidents occurred on the weekend. A car with five occupants failed to take the bend at the Lakes Road intersection at about 4.30pm on Friday night, and rolled. Three of the occupants required hospital treatment. Another car failed to take a bend, this time on Rangataua Road at 11.00pm on Friday night. The car was extensively damaged but the driver and sole occupant was uniniured.
