Skis stolen daily

Waimarino police wam people that the theft of skis and back packs is now a daily occurrence from outside cafeterias on Turoa and also from roof racks of cars parked in the town. Sergeant Bob Evans said two to three pairs of skis and pack packs are being taken each day. He said in almost all cases owners of skis had not recorded the serial numbers of their skis, making it more difficult for police.
