Smallbore shooters doing well

Members of the Waimarino Smallbore Rifle Club continue to achieve success in re-

cent shooting competitions. At last week's Manawatu Championships held at Palmerston North, Michael Maru received the runner's up shield in the 'B' grade while Bob McGinniss was placed third. Bob Evans was fourth in the 'D' grade. However none of them were available to compete in the graded final. At the Wellington Championships the previous week, Lynette Maru was the Ladies' Champion. There are still major competitions ahead in this year's season and it is hoped the club members will continue to shine.
