BY

JOANNA

SAUNDERS

One hundred and forty people took part in the Super Unit section of the Command Trophy last Wednesday, competing in some extremely physical activities.

A relay-type competition, the Super Unit sports included 100 press-ups, 200 sit-ups, 100 crunchies and 100 squat thrusts. This annual event has six separate sporting sections which are held at various times

of the year. The Command Trophy is presented at the end of the year to the top ATG unit. For the first time this year there are two grades. The first comprises Army units competing for the

trophy, the second is purely social and competitors are doing it for the fun of competing. To date the top Army unit is Headquarters ATG Support Group, and the top social group is Waiouru Catering Troop.
