Ohakune's cycle repair man, Snow Brannigan might be a little bit out of sight but he shouldn't be out of mind for people wanting help with their bicycles or sports goods. The Brannigans continue to operate their sports business from a spacious garage at 56 Goldfinch Street, after moving out of their Goldfinch Street shop some time ago. They offer a full cycle repair service and racquet repair service as well as sports goods retailing. Snow can fix anything on a bicycle - brakes, gear derallieurs, wheels, frames - right thorugh to total bike rebuilds. He even manufactures replacement parts if they can't be obtained. Racquet repairs include restringing badminton, squash or tennis racquets to the customer's specifications.
