Gabby is being taught bridge by Tani Blackburn and she teamed up with him on Wednesday night and finished the evening in second place. Well done. First place was taken by Jack McLean and Pauline Le Noel. They scored 100 points which is 63%-50% of a maximum 120 points. Gabby and Tani had 97 points (63%) and the next three place getters were as follows 3rd. Ron Martin and Heather Cranston, 55%, 4th Ron Frew and Brian Eades, 53.75%, 5th Lynn Brannigan and Goldie Fraser, 53.13%. Twenty two boards were played over five and a half tables with each board worth a maximum of 8 points, however each pair played only twenty boards hence the maximum possible of 120.
