School netball goes well
Despite the wet cold weather all week, it stayed fine for Saturday's netball. The primary netball is going really well, thanks to the dedication of teachers and coaches. There are two rep teams going to Wanganui in three weeks to compete in a rep tournament with the primary rep team of L Haitana, R Brown, G Peni, R Taumata, L Willcox, M Akapita, L Karauria, R Mareikura, K Evans, L Green, T Leed and J Blake. The under 16 rep team includes; D Siddells, L Waerea, T Taura, M Cribb, D Fremlin, P Mariekura, B Cleary and F Makiri. The primary reps will be coached by La Akapita and the under 16s by Eva Kaata. New skirts and tops have been bought and organisers are hoping to find someone to come forward and sponsor the children with track suits. If there is anyone that would like to sponsor the track suits they are asked to contact A Schrier 58 355, K McLean 54 895 or J Drinkwater 58 246.
