New Waiouru reporters
Two part-time reporters are now on the look-out for Waiouru news, following a long spell when the Ruapehu Bulletin had no Waiouru correspondent. Both Jo Howie and Joanna Saunders have had a little experience in writing for newspapers and are keen to get started on articles for Waiouru and its people. They hope to provide readers with interesting articles that target the community and are planning to introduce extra pieces including a regular rugby report, police file, competition coverage and Waiouru
'Hello Worlds". Jo Howie is married with three children and her husband is in the Army. Jo lists hers interests as netball, knitting, eating, exercising and children's activies. Joanna Saunders is also married and has one child and her husband works for Serco. Her interests include Guiding, Rover Scouts, playgroup and motorsport. Anyone wanting publicity for any achievement, area news, social or business promotions etc can call Jo 56 977 or Joanna 56 324. "If it is interesting to you, it's interesting to us", said Jo.
