TV's for local farmers
Four local farmers won televisions in a competition run by Elders Pastoral. The competition was part of a national promotion run during May
with four televisions to be won in the Waimarino area. In order to qualify for one chance in ten of winning a 14 inch Toshiba colour TV purchasers had to buy
$500 of Young's Animal Health Products. The Waimarino winners were Ian Strachan, Karioi, Ken Sue, Karioi, Ray Wilson, Ohakune and Stuart Walker Retaruke.
