Dog fights concern SPCA

Dog fights are being organised in the Waimarino - Taihape area, SPCA officers fear. While they have no evidence yet, they are confident their sources are reliable. SPCA inspector Debbie Hill of Waiouru asks anyone who may have information about dog fights to contact her. She advises that all aspects of dog fighting are illegal including owning dogs used in dog fighting, organising or helping to organise dog fights, baiting dogs to fight, and even to watch an organised dog fight.
