Enjoy Daylight Savings with Nightstore Heating.
Many New Zealand homes will enjoy dayiight savings all through winter, thanks to the new generation night store heaters. A night store heater is a very economical operator. It switches on automatically between 11pm and 7am* to take advantage of low-cost night rate electricity (about 63%* of the usual daytime domestic rate). Heat is then stored in a special core material and
released gradually the next day to provide you with one of the cheapest „ forms of home heating available. An automatic temperature sensor controls the heat output to keep the room comfortable. And if more heat is required, baffles can be opened to raise the temperature. If the weather takes a nasty turn, a supplementary on-peak element can be activated for even more comfort. -
In most cases, the installation of a night store heater is quick and easy. They are clean, safe and virtually maintenance free. And very cost-effective to operate. So if the chill of winter has you warming to the idea of low-cost daytime home heating, coirte in and see our range of new generation nightstore heaters. * Some retailers' night rate hours and rates are different from these, and some do not offer these rates at all. Please check with your local electricity supplier.
