Calling scouts

After having had boys and no leader for two years the Raetihi scouts now have a leader and no boys. Garth Rogers has taken up the position of leader and the group is now looking for boys between the ages of 11 - 14 1/2 to get the group

operational again. Organisers are wondering if the cold winter months are keeping the boys at home. Girls and boys can join scouts but as both Brownies and Guides are running in Raetihi the scouts do not want to take girls away from either group and so are

catering to the boys in the town. Six are needed to make a patrol. Scouts will meet between 6pm and 8pm on a Monday at the Raetihi Scout den. If anyone is interested please contact Shirley McDonagh 54488 or Jim Bennett 54684.
