King Country Electric Power Board Power Shutdown King Country Energy, Ohakune, Karioi and Tangiwai area. The Board wishes to advise its customers in the above areas that power supply will be disconnected from 1.30am to approximately 4am on Wednesday 12 June to enable emergency work to be carried out by Electricorp on their sub-station. Should circumstances or weather prevent work being carried out or completed, disconnection of supply shall be carried out at a later date. Power supply will be reconnected on completion of the work without further notice and all lines must be treated as being alive at all times. General Manager
