Arbour Day trees offered

To celebrate Arbour Day, 5 June, the Department of Conservation Taupo Native Plant Nursery has four native plants to give to each school, college, kindergarten and kohanga reo in the Tongariro/Taupo Conservancy. Nursery staff are to

provide advice on the most suitable plants for each area from a selection of 10 central North Island species and collection of plants can be arranged from the Ohakune or Whakapapa DoC offices once contact with the Taupo nursery, (074) 85450 has been made.
