21st bull sale
The Okahu Polled Hercford Stud held their 21st annual bull sale on 27 May. The influence of the North Amercan breeding showed through in the good commercial bulls offered. Of the 29 bulls offered for sale 25 were sold for an average price of $2424. The top price paid on the day was $4000. Along with the good local buying interest there was interest from Hawke's Bay, Taumarunui, Wanganui, Hunterville and Wanganui. The sale was good in comparison with other recent saies.
