Chateau tenders
A half-dozen tenders, mostly from overseas, have been received for the purchase of the Chateau Tongariro. The South Pacific Hotel Corporation put the
Chateau on the market last month and tenders closed Friday 17 May. Earlier the corporation said they would consider offers over $4.65 million for the 61 year-old hotel.
