From page 1 of holding such courses in Waiouru. Rates Waiouru's rate hike of up to 320 per cent in some cases is not likely to be repeated. Defence is looking at new costings formulae bearing in mind the heavy loading on the community with the Army Museum on the end of the township's services. Also, chairman Bob Vine has agreed to personally pay for the community rubbish collection; roading costs in the Ruapehu District are to be shared by those areas with the roading need; and water rates and charges are to be reviewed following errors being identified, the board heard.
