First place North - South was keenly contested with Lynn Brannigan and Les Burns (55.56%) three points ahead of Betty Hammond and Rita Kaiwhare (53.47%) at the end of play. Spurred on by last week's results John Eades, along with partner Jack McLean raced away to finish 13 points ahead of nearest rivals to finish with 59.03% taking first .place EastWest. Second place with 72 points and an even 50% went to Pauline Le Noel and Tephany Bennett.
