Skid Thanks

• On behalf of Bill Hadley, (driving tutor of Tauranga Polytechnic) and myself we would like to thank the large number of people who participated in the Anti Skid training course. We would especially like to thank Mike Burgess for his great effort in arranging for all the local Telecom employees to sit the course, also Robert Milne for his excellent write up in the Bulletin. A very special thanks to Warrant Officer John Ward of Waiouru for his help with army liaison. Last but not least is the Wanganui Transport Dept. for making the effort to come and see anti Skid in action. Due to the great success of the course, especially this being the first time for Anti Skid Training in this area, another Anti Skid Course is now being organised for October, this year. For those who have done the basic skid control, who would be interested in doing a more advanced course as well as those who may wish to do an Anti skid training Course later on in the year can contact myself on ph. 58024 for further details. Also there will be a documentary on 14 June, organised by both T.V. one/ two about Anti Skid Training
