Taskforce Green possum attack
Waimarino*s community board expressed support for an investigation of a proposed Taskforce Green project to help eradicate possums in the Ruatiti area.
Member Winston Oliver said the proposed scheme, which would be set up as part of the battle against TB, has 100 per cent support of the Ministry of Agriculture. The project would see unemployed people used to trap and hunt possums.
