Finishing fashion touches
Local fashion models have been working on their walks over the past weeks in preparation for Wednesday's annual fashion show. The theme for the show is 'seasons' and Plunket people have been decorating the Hot Lava nightclub to reinforce that idea. The supper, labelled a 'feast', is being supported by locals and out-of-towners. Prizes for the Kereoke machine competitors have been arranged - a night's accommodation for two at Manuel's at Taupo. Individuals or teams of three can have a go at this newest participation entertainment. There are several prizes on offer from local firms, up to the value of $300, and spot prizes
of Turoa day passes. Also up for grabs is a $200 prize from George Edwards for the best dressed person, male or female, judged on the night. Tickets are still available from Junction Ski Shop, George Edwards, Collections, Ragtime or phone Deena Porter 58 953, Catherine Craig 58954 or Cathy Horne 58 684.
