" PUBLIC COMMENT WANTED ON SERVICE PLANS The Strategic Plan of the Board for the next five years was adopted by the Board on 5 April. Over 100 submissions had been received from the public and changes were made to the draft strategic plan in response to these. The next stage in the board's planning process is to make draft Service Plans available to the public for comment. Whv comment is wanted While the Strategic Plan is a broadly expressed document, the Service Plans are presented in more detail. It is important that the Board's communities comment on these draft Service Plans to ensure that the final Service Plans are as relevant as possible. How to aet copies of the draft Service Plan? Copies of the draft Service Plans are being posted to health organisations. Copies may be obtained by phoning Miss K Lynam (063) 508 91 0, by writing to The General Manager of the Board (see below), or by contacting your local hospital.
