NP hunters compete

Hunters got the better of deer in the Tongariro National Park last week with about 20 hunters taking part in the firstever roar competition held at the National Park Cosmopolitan Club. The event was held over three days starting Thursday 4 April and finishing Sunday afternoon with the weigh-in. The competition was open to feral stag entries only. Results for the heaviest stag: 1st Mark Poole
